Ikat | Variable Type
Inspired by the weaving technique and texture of Ikat textiles from Asia, this is a set of Alphabets that act as Variable Typography.
In Ikat, every warp thread is painted/ dyed individually to create a stroke that contributes to a motif.
As the threads are woven together, one can observe the subtle shifting of lines which creates a glitch-like effect.
This set of alphabets that celebrates the sharpness of those edges in a vector format.
