Anatomy of Loss

“Anatomy of Loss” visualises the intimate chaos of confronting mortality, shaped by my memories of losing my brother to lung cancer.

Poster 1
This tall composition uses dimensional organic forms that echo the raw frustration and internal violence of a body enduring relentless attack by cancerous cells. Rendered in cold, metallic textures, the forms take their cue from medical imaging—X-rays and scans—imparting a clinical detachment that contrasts sharply with the personal anguish underlying each structure.

Poster 2
This tall composition uses the word AAARGH to illustrate the frustration of relentlessly being poked by needles during the medical treatment.
